Listen to me...
To be a man you need to abide by a code...
Hola. I'm a Graphic / Web Designer / Sports Nut, and I am here to exhibit my work and air my opinions on all topics which interest me (design related & other).
Where it began...
After graduating I became a freelancer initially working from home before moving to our studio in Leamington where creative company FullFat Creations became official. I worked with two likeminded freethinkers Chris Hewison and Stephen Wood whom i had formed a successful partnership with at university. The building of this company encompassed everything from rebranding to sourcing premises and attracting new clientelle. At FullFat the majority of our work catered for small businesses, usually providing packages covering branding and website. I have also flirted with the world of advertising as this as this was a major part of my university coach and have worked for days with companies such as EHS Brann and Pearlfisher in London.
Iceberg
My next job took me back to Northampton, where i moved to Iceberg-Marketing. At Iceberg i worked on a number of new brands and successful pitches. During my time at Iceberg I worked for a prestigious list of clients including Loans.co.uk, Cabot Financial, The Children’s Society, Roadsure and Warwickshire / Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA). I also developed logos and brands for Oldbridge Finance, Justice Care, Skypure and Lesta packaging inmy time there. Pitching for new clients was a regular occurrence during my time at Iceberg and I became heavily involved in successful pitches for Roadsure (also comprising Businesssure and Yousure) and WNAA.
Easiserv.com
After Iceberg I moved to easiserv.com where i began to further my skills in website design. Since working at easiserv.com I have built many websites from start to finish as well and have learnt many importnat lessons regarding how to build Successful Websites which don't use unecessary code. The websites we build at easiserv.com place an emphasis on being search friendly so I had solid grounding in this area.
Interests outside of Design
Sport and football in particular is a HUMUNGOUS passion of mine. I have played at Semi Professional and European University level and find sport and training for sport a great release from a largely static profession. Other sports i enjoy partaking in on a less serious level are boxing, rock climbing and athletics. I have many opinions on football training, techniques, tactics, diet etc. which i will writing about in sports page later on this year.
I like to travel abroad as often as possible, usually going on short trips to historical cities. Last year alone I took trips to Inverness, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Madrid & New York and often find these cultural influences play a major part in my design. I also need to learn to surf this year asap, so if you are willing to give me free lessons please get in touch. Oh and I'm also getting back into life drawing.
